Every year on April 7th, the world celebrates World Health Day to raise awareness about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. In this regard, I'd like to tell you about my best friend, who is very concerned about his health and can't bear the thought of others in pain. He is constantly on the lookout for ways to assist those in need through donations and charitable work.
Last month, he advised me to look for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that assist the poor. So that he can donate the money to a worthy cause. He has a clear crystal heart and cares about those who cannot afford medical treatment. While scrolling, I came across a donation request from Bansang Hospital Gambia. I investigate further to confirm its legitimacy and discover that it has been treating patients since 1938, long before the Gambia was established.
After I offer it to him, my friend decides to donate to this hospital, and he gives a reasonable amount. The money transfer went smoothly, but the main issue was the distance between the hospital and Australia, where we live.
